MagesSo you want to control the elements, huh? Magicians are one of the most powerful classes at Duck Soup, but are also the weakest class physically. They use the magicks born from the earth as well as the power locked deep within their minds to defeat their enemies. The first tier of the Magician job tree is well... Magician (or mage!). XD From Mage, it branches out into two seperate classes to choose from. If you would rather branch off and learn the powers of the arcane as well as ways to rip your enemies defenses down, Wizard is the class for you. If you would rather become one with nature and learn to master all of the elements, Shaman is the way you should go. After you do your first job change, you won't be able to choose between either path anymore. You will be either a Shaman or a Wizard, you just sort of... evolve into stronger forms of that class! »Mage Mage are the first tier of the Mage job class! Mages are experts at magic and have many different spells to deal with all sorts of baddies. While physically a weak class, their magic is top notch! Stats: INT (intellect) is a Mage's best stat. It effects how much damage your magic does. STA (stamina) is also a good stat for a Mage to have because it will toughen you up with a bit more HP and DEF. Spells: Archers have 4 different skills that are available to them. Fire: A fire spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Thunder: A thunder spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Blizzard: An ice spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Posion: A 75% chance to posion your target giving them -10% HP every turn. »Wizard Enjoying owning your enemies with magic? Have some of the same but stronger magic! The second level spells do 1.5x your INT! Spells: Priests have 5 different spells that are available to them. Fira: A very strong fire spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Thundra: A very strong thunder spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Blizzara: A very strong ice spell which inflects damage to your target directly affected by your INT. Aero: A very strong wind spell which inflects damage to your target it is directly affected by your INT. Toad: Turn the target into a toad for 2 turns in which they cannot attack with any melee or magic. »Sorcerer The first evolution in the Wizard portion of the Mage job tree is Sorcerer. Sorcerers get a spell which can cause instant death on their enemies. Spells: Bishops have 2 different spells that are available to them. Death: Has a 75% chance to cause instant death to an enemy (does not work on bosses) Flare: A high level fire spell which does 2xINT damage to an enemy. »Warlock The final form of a Wizard is Warlock. Warlocks get a spell which increases their defense against oncoming attacks as well as a counter which repels spells back to the enemy. Magick Counter: Is able to reflect 90% of all spells and has a 50% chance of casting them on the enemy which cast them. Arcane Strength: Increases DEF and MDEF by 70%. »Shaman Shamans are not the straight up spell users that Wizards are instead their spells allow them to manipulate the battle and even summon creatures to help them fight. Spells: Shamans have 5 different skills that are available to them. Stasis: Is able to hold an enemy in place and stop them from attacking for 2 turns. Defend: Increases MDEF and DEF by 200%. Salve: A minor healing spell which can help for .8xINT. Blind: Blinds an ememy for 2 turns. Summon Monster: For 1/2 of their MP can summon a monster which has equal to their own original HP to fight for them. »Druid Druids are able to call upon the powers of voodoo in order to fight against enemies. They have dark magik attacks to help them destory their foes. Syphon: Take 50% HP and MP from an enemy. Zombie: Turns an enemy into a mindless zombie for 4 turns. Enemy takes 2x damage. »Avatar Avatars are the highest evolution of the Shaman portion of the Mage job tree. They are able to break others attacks and deal large amounts of damage. Break: If attacked, Avatar's auto cast break which freezes an enemy in place for 2 turns. Vengence: When cast does 2xINT damage to every monster on the board. |
